My students are energetic, creative, and eager to learn. They thrive when they are engaged and excited to learn! However, they come from low-income households and do not always have the latest access to an environment that makes learning fun and encouraging. Most of the students are students full of bright ideas, imaginative solutions, and interesting innovations waiting to unfold. Many of these intelligent students come from a struggling or traumatic background and look to school as their safe place.
