Learners today are in a world where technology is booming and evolving all around them. My firsties need an opportunity to learn in an engaging way, which technology will provide for them! Having iPads in our classroom will support this technological need. First grade is the year where learning how to read is so critical- having iPads in our classroom will help to build these foundational reading skills. iPads have countless amounts of educational apps and programs that will help make their reading and math learning more engaging and valuable. I would like to provide my first graders with hands on learning and real world connections, and having technology in the classroom will provide ample amounts of opportunity for this!
