In my position, I have the opportunity to individualize instruction to help meet the specific learning styles and needs of each student. The variety of materials I am requesting for the project will provide my students with a multi-sensory approach to learning the basic literacy skills needed to be successful in school and life. Mastery of skills is achieved through repetition in a variety of ways. The students will be able to use different materials to strengthen their knowledge of the early literacy skills of letter identification, letter sounds and word building. This will set the foundation for their future reading success!
