For the past three years I have been fortunate enough to teach my students the basics of coding using free online programs such as Code.org and Scratch. I would like to bring their coding skills to life by allowing students to see their code being used in real life. Unfortunately, computer science is underfunded therefore we lack the funding to purchase materials to make teaching memorable and fun for students. How do drones play a part in everyday life? Drones are not only fun to fly, but can be used by farmers to check on their crop using coordinates. I'm requesting one Phantom 4 Quadcopter, Lithium-Polymer batteries, and Quick Release Drone Propellers to give all students a chance to try their code. Students can use the drones to simulate checking on their crop in a field setting code commands and test running their code. Thank you.
