Everyday students are broken up into ability groups and given time to master learned concepts through hands on learning experiences. These interactive math activities will allow the students to grow stronger in learned concepts such as addition and subtraction as well as have fun during the learning process. During the student's small group instruction time, centers are being explored. Through having these hands on activities as centers, the students will be able to grow and learn in hopes of improving in their math abilities within the mentioned concepts. Throughout my time teaching, I have grown to understand that my students enjoy and retain much more information through hand-on learning as they would seat work as well as book work. I know without a doubt that with these new math activities they will flourish into successful young mathematicians!
