A light table is a flat translucent tabletop with a light source underneath that shines up towards the top, it has 4 different light colors. It is an innovative device that has been used lately in early childhood classrooms to provide meaningful learning experiences. Students will use the light table to practice and develop math, reading, and writing skills. Also is a good resource to engage students in science and math practices. The gentle light of the table extends the children’s attention and helps the students stay focused on a task. It is a great tool to support learning centers in the classroom.
