We have been in our portables for the last 5 years. Its been really cramped but we make do. My students are like little sponges. They always love to learn new things in science. In this picture the students are doing an activity using both of the new science lab chairs. They are making observations and collecting and recording their data. These chairs will come in special handy when we get to our next unit. Life science is our next unit, entitled "What is going on inside of me?". The table and chairs will enable our students to learn about microscopes and their parts and functions. The table and chairs will also allow students a better platform for using the microscopes. Sitting in these two chairs instead of standing will provide a better position for making observations under the microscopes. We are all very excited and really cant say thank you enough.
