Mrs. Honea has changed positions at her elementary school. Instead of teaching 3rd grade general education, she now teaches kindergarten through 3rd grade special education. That's right, she is now in the K-3 special education self-contained classroom with 10 sweet kiddos. Since switching positions, she has had to find new material for her students that is individualized and designed for each student based on his/her learning disability. The students in her classroom have a range of disabilities, and each student is extremely different. Mrs. Honea and her students have lots of fun working on language arts activities together, listening to read alouds of their favorite stories, and working on their individualized IEP goals. Please help make her classroom fun, personalized, and engaging.
