These books and magazines will provide my students with an independent reading program that not only allows them to be critical thinkers but also exposes them to different cultures and perspectives around them. I want the independent reading library to be filled with different cultures, subjects, and interests to create a high tolerance in my students for the differences they live among in their communities and overall world today. These books will make them well-rounded students and individuals. The various books in the independent reading program will allow my students the ability to have several books to choose from and to dive deep into reading and its rewards.
