My children are in need of more fun and exciting materials on our playground. I am looking to provide materials that encourage exploration, math, science and social skills; what better way than to take the classroom outside. They will have the opportunity to discover and explore what a greenhouse is, how to use them and their importance. The greenhouse will provide so many wonderful educational opportunities that go beyond science, including language and literacy skills, math, health and more. By adding planter boxes to our playground we will have the ability to expand on our greenhouse effects, moving plants from the greenhouse to planters that they are then able to watch grow even more. Sometimes playgrounds are overlooked as a place children learn and grow, but that is truly not the case. When we bring the classroom outside the potential for children to grow and learn at preschool is endless.
