We are requesting wobble cushions, balance ball seats, bouncy bands, fidgets, floor seats and beanbag seats. Sometimes being seated for long periods of time can cause anxiety and despair especially during testing situations, but when allowed to wobble in one’s seat, that may change the outcome in performance. Changing the way one presents the environment and providing students with seating choices or choices in supports that they can use to maximize learning or performance during testing will prove to be beneficial in the long run for my students in the academic setting. Allowing them the opportunity to wobble, yet remain seated will provide them the opportunity to move about, yet remain focused on the tasks presented to learn about their potential.

About my class
