Students need foam balls, and clubs of varying sizes to use in stations and game play. Students will learn the skills of putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing. They will also learn the rules and etiquette of golf and then play a short version on our fields. The use of targets, mini games and stations will also be utilized to make learning golf fun. Golf can improve wellness though lifetime sport, improves object manipulation skills, creates an environment of teamwork, assists with golf Special Olympic training and promotes inclusion. The main goal of this project is to help expose more kids to golf and promote lifetime health and sport.

About my class
