These materials will allow me to make visual supports to help my students access their preschool world with success. Isn't that what every child should be able to do? Communication boards will help them communicate their wants and needs when they are unable to express themselves verbally. Individual schedules, with their favorite character printed on it, will tell them what they will be doing for the day. Adaptive books will help them learn many concepts such as pre-academics, emotional regulation, social skills, and so much more. In addition to making visual supports for the classroom, I make them for the parents to use at home as well. Giving the parents the same strategies used at school has resulted in goals being reached even quicker.
