HOME is our school wide theme, and I do everything I can to create that atmosphere within my room by filling it with as much life as possible - green plants, second hand lamps, and a tea pot open to all. I also collect books from garage sales (my students always have something to read), so we are surrounded by books! Beyond the physical space, we cultivate the family atmosphere through lots of conversation, transparency, and we always leave room for inquiry.

About my class
