I absolutely love teaching fifth grade students and seeing how much they learn and grow throughout the year. They are passionate young people who enjoy learning and coming to school. Their personalities, hard work and achievements make me truly enjoy coming to the classroom each day. The students in my classroom come to me each day from varying backgrounds and home situations. Some of them consider school their "safe space" where there are consistent faces, routines and meals. Throughout the year, we become a small little family, a community. We celebrate each others successes and encourage each other through the more difficult times. All of this is done while making learning as fun as we possibly can.

About my class
