We need a sturdy, professional mixer for our food service classes. Our only mixer is rather old and having and another mixer will allow more students to prepare food at the same time. It will have a bread hook attachment to make dough, so we're able to make bread and pizza dough. Our food service classes teach our transition students (who all have disabilities) job and life skills in the kitchen such as: * How to make wholesome meals so they aren't limited to fast food for their nutrition. *How to prepare for a job in the food or restaurant industry learning skills such as hygiene, food safety, tools, customer service and money skills (through working the coffee cart) and work habits. *How to experience the most important benefit of all: the passion and creativity of cooking.
