The students in my classroom will be using the Wobble seats daily. Wobble seats are about 14 inches in diameter and are made of durable molded plastic. It is a great option for students with extra energy or ADHD. The Wobble seats will help kinders be active, without distracting others. Students will be able to read, write, and listen to read-alouds while bouncing or moving slightly in their Wobble seats. The wobbling on the chair increases blood flow to the brain and gets that energy out in a constructive way. Research indicates that movement actually enhances student learning and empowers students by allowing them freedom to move around. The Wobble seats can be moved around the room depending on how the students need to use them on a particular day. Your generous donation will help ensure that my kindergarten students will be able to move, yet focus and maximize their attention to the academic tasks at hand.
