It is such a joy to teach Special Needs Pre-K every day to my 3-5 year olds. Everyday my students wake up and come to school eager to learn as much as their little heads will let them. I am requesting iPads, headphones, and otter boxes for our independent center for my students. In our classroom the students have many different need. They have communication needs, speech, and basic recognition skills. We are constantly working to master these skills. With the use of technology we can now reach children that have Autism, Down syndrome, and Significant Developmental Delays and open new doors to learning. Some of the skills my students will work on independently will be number recognition, color recognition, and letter recognition.
