My project is to create a disc golf course that the students can utilize in our outdoor areas. I am currently asking for four disc golf targets to get us started. There are currently two local disc golf courses in our community. My goal is to introduce my students to a variety of activities, so they may become interested in one to increase their physical activity outside of school. Our physical education program currently offers golf, tennis, weight lifting, aerobics, basketball, archery, soccer, and volleyball. By offering disc golf, I hope to help the students find an activity that they can continue to do throughout their lives.
