I am the school counselor in a high poverty elementary school in NC. I do a lot of classroom guidance and small groups working on character education and social skills. I find that reading a book about the theme we are discussing is a great way to introduce our students to more books and teach a lesson as well. These books will help with my Comprehensive School Counseling Program and make sure I can reach as many students as possible with interesting and exciting books about character education and dealing with feelings.
