Our campus is located in a large immigrant community in Houston, Texas. Many of my students will be the first ones in their families to attend college. They are eager learners and high achievers who are on a journey to make it to and through college. My students have set the bar high even though they have many hurdles to jump. Our school is a Title 1 school because many of our students come from low income households and cannot afford essential classroom supplies, yet everyday they put in the work and dedication needed to make their dreams of making it through college a reality.
