These books will allow my students to continue to enhance their literary awareness while also increasing their vocabulary. We are encouraging them to read to help increase their overall ELA aptitude scores. I want them to see that there is power in words. I see them struggle to try to communicate, not for lack of a thought but because they lack the experience of word usage. I believe that by offering them such a wide variety of books to choose from, they will be able to express not only an intellectual thought but an emotional one as well. They will be able to finally express their feelings in either a written or auditory manner to make us understand their reality.

About my class
