My students need books that reflect the world they see everyday. They need books that are both engaging and intriguing. They need a library that will keep them coming back to the cozy book area that we have lovingly created for our classroom. They enjoy creating their own stories based on books we read in class. However, our library has a limited selection with little diversity of characters and topics. The donation to this project will help to improve our class library. Few things are more impactful to an academic foundation than literacy development. Reading is critical to future academic success.

About my class
