I teach 3rd grade in a Title 1 school where our students come from diverse and sometimes unstable backgrounds. All of our students qualify for free breakfast and lunch and many live in low-income housing. My class is full of love, energy and a desire to learn. Our school is focusing on College and Career Readiness this year and while I know all of my students will not be able to attend college, they have all expressed the desire to do so. We talk daily about our goals and how to reach those goals and it is my hope that all of my students will be successful in reaching their goals.
