With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of texts that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. These books were chosen based on the interest levels that my students have. They are very excited to read graphic novels and realistic fictional texts. I want them to feel excited when they are able to check out a new book from our library and be able to read independently! I want students to not only be able to find a book that interests them but it also is at the appropriate level for them.
