These tablets will make a positive impact on my students learning! 90% of my classes have students with limited to no English. Can you imagine being in a class and not having any understanding of what's going on around you because you just arrived in the United States and speak another language? My students do each day. These tablets will allow my students to create Biographical Essays, Hero's Journey Narratives, Research Papers, Holocaust Panel Discussions, Socratic Seminars, Argumentative Essays, complete Learning Middle School Learning Centers, our Wax Museum Project and so much more all on their own! With amazing apps such as "Translate" my students will take a picture or scan their work and it immediately translates it into their native language! My students are able to successfully comprehend the curriculum and build valuable language skills at the same time. This empowers my English Language Learners to feel confident, build their self-esteem and collaborate with peers in our student-centered classroom!
