With my kids having such unique needs, it is super important that they are able to be comfortable in the classroom. The rugs will allow them to interact with each other and use learning materials through more relaxed opportunities. The rugs will help make the classroom feel like a warm environment. Most of my students need more space to move around than is offered with traditional seating. This will give them space to learn and be successful! These rugs will help create separate working spaces. Students will be able to request working on a specific rug instead of at their desks. This will allow their voices to be heard and respected, which continues to make our environment warm and welcoming.
