My students need an iPad mini to be able to make films to educate their peers about important topics and an OtterBox case to protect it. The leadership students at my school are passionate about making films to help teach their peers about important topics they are facing everyday. The iPad will allow students to easily film, collaborate, edit, and share. Students would like to make films in the areas of social media awareness, diversity, mind-fullness, and stress management to give just a few examples. Students will work together to come up with effective storyboards so the message of the films are clear to all students. Our leadership students feel this is an effective way to reach their peers in the age of digital media and open an important dialogue among students and teachers.
