The students in my school district are amazing! We have scholars and singers, artists and athletes, as well as a number of clubs for our students to be involved in. For a small town, we have a lot to offer our students but budgets are often tight and we aren't always able to get the extra little things that will bring our projects and organizations to the next level. I teach students with special needs. Most of them are involved in many of these activities but they also require extra services. The therapy and counseling services they need are delivered in a boring and unwelcoming classroom. I want my students to have a space where they feel safe to share their stories with the counselor and comfortable to work with the various speech, occupational and physical therapists. Please consider helping my students by donating to my newest project -- A Comfortable Counseling Room.
