Our classroom is a community and the morning meeting is an important part of the day. On this rug, students can gather as a community of learners to share ideas, problems solve​ and ask questions. They will all have their space to provide structure, while they are contributing to the classroom discussion. I am excited to teach whole group lessons on this colorful rug and I will use the color squares for easily creating groups for breakout sessions. I believe that a welcoming and bright environment helps students get excited about learning and school. I want students to get excited when they enter our classroom!
