My students love to work in groups. They are eager to work with each other and collaborate. During their group time students like to pick new areas to sit at that sometimes are not their desks. Clipboards would allow my students to move around the classroom or work outside and still have a work surface. This would give them the freedom to work anywhere. In addition the markers for this project will allow my students to make posters, art projects, and enhance notes like their science notebooks. Students also benefit from the printer in our classroom to print writing to draft and revise during Writer's Workshop.
