I am a librarian at an elementary school in Mississippi. I came across this series of books about our 50 states that is an absolutely wonderful resource for our students and their teachers. The series is called Discover America State By State. The books are formatted as ABC books. So the reader is taken through the fascinating facts about each state alphabetically. The illustrations are very well done, and they are eye-catching! The teachers have seen these books and they are very excited about having them to use with their States unit in Social Studies. This is one of those items that is over and above what my library budget will cover. Your help with this purchase will be greatly appreciated by all of us. Thanks you so much for your help!
