I teach 7th grade students at a Title I middle school in Lake Charles, LA. Most of my students receive free lunch. My average class size is about 20 students. I have a total of about 105 students that I see daily. They are amazing. They have extremely difficult home lives, and I never stop worrying about them. Despite their sad and sometimes hopeless home lives, they still manage to come to school every day with a smile. They are my inspiration. These kids would do anything for me, and I hope that my project gets funded so that I can return the favor for them.

About my class
