My students are 4 and 5 year olds with Autism who are highly motivated by technology. I have seen this first hand when specialists use devices with them. It helps them learn new skills while being exposed to technology that is integral to every day life. An iPad could be used as a tool during individual or group lessons to help students expand their language in a fun way! The experiences they would get through this exposure to technology would be so valuable, not just for this year but for their futures. Giving them this exposure at an early age would help these students as they explore technology in their future academic careers.

About my class
