Our students have had enough of the typical history lesson. These costumes allow students the ability and access to role play, debate, and perform the time periods they are studying! For example, it is one thing to learn about Athens and Sparta - It's another to dress as a militarized Spartan wearing helmets and swords to debate your opposing class of democracy-loving Athenians wearing togas. Don't leave history for the history books, make history relevant and real in a students life. These costume will enable me to increase engagement by showing up to class wearing strange costumes, and allowing the students to join in on the fun. Students will have increased enthusiasm and a love of learning.
