Welcome to Ms. White's Music Room page, and thank you so much for stopping by! I have the pleasure of teaching general music to an amazing group of 750 students in grades PK-8. William Dever Elementary is nestled in the Dunning Neighborhood of Chicago, serving a very diverse community of students. Dever aims to create a positive learning community for all, and to guide students to realize their passions, potential, and understand how they can change the world. I align my music teaching practices to this mission and strive engage students in genuine musical expression to create a life-long love of music. Dever is a Title I school, and it is difficult to acquire the funds needed for instruments, music, and other materials for the classroom. Through these projects, I hope to be able to bring more meaningful musical experiences to my students to further enrich their lives and education.
