As my students go through third-grade learning and discovering more each day, I want to supply my kids with a class set of dictionaries and phrasebooks. These will help us work together as a class out of the same books to investigate how to use and understand a dictionary.Students are able to find their spelling errors to correct, discover different meanings for words, and understand how to navigate through hundreds and thousands of words to learn even more! Throughout third-grade, my students are becoming more independent and I want to help them with this. Having a dictionary for them to use throughout the day will help in their language and understanding of different contents, and how to use problem solving skills to investigate unknown words.
