This will make a difference in my students' learning and improve their school lives by giving them an environment that is warm, inviting and safe. They will be able to relax and enjoy a real carpet and to have a place to store our classroom toys that are easy for them to use and to allow them to put away the toys themselves without requiring my help. (Currently, we have left over carpet squares that were duck taped together and they consistently come apart creating a distraction and unsafe situation.) My goal is to develop a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and provides students with a sense of pride and comfort in their environment. All students deserve this! Thank you for your consideration.
