College preparation is the name of the game in my classroom. Teaching AP level 11th grade students is an amazing challenge everyday--add in the subject of English and reading and it becomes even more essential to meet the challenge. Serving minority students at my charter school, where the focus is college readiness, means I need to provide every opportunity possible for the students to access the materials.
