I want my classroom to be a place where my students feel safe, successful and important. One of many ways for creating safe environment and building positive relationships with students is to give them ownership of picking a seat that will help them learn best. As a result, in my classroom my students can sit on scoop chairs, bean bag chair, mattress, and carpet squares. However, they need more options for seating. My students wish for wobble chairs to be used as additional flexible seating options. Since I showed them different types of chairs other students have, they can't stop talking about. I wish that one day I can surprise them by bringing these wobble chairs to our classroom. I strongly believe that these seats will allow my students to stay on task and focused because they are allowed to wiggle while they are working. These chairs would be a great addition to our classroom.
