Offering students flexible seating options in the classroom has been proven by research to help students both physically and educationally. Students who have been given flexible seating options have been shown to have increased motivation and engagement in the classroom. Flexible seating options in the classroom applies the idea that physical activity is linked to higher academic performance, better health, and improved behavior. I believe that my students should have the opportunity to reach their highest potential in their academic endeavors. With flexible seating, students will not only be burning more calories, using up excess energy, and improve their metabolism but they will also be given a better chance to be successful.

About my class
