I teach in South Phoenix, meaning that my students are loving, energetic, and have a profound interest/curiosity for social justice and whether or not people are being represented fairly within different social structures. That being said, my students are ahead of the game, and now I'm here asking for your assistance in providing them with the resources that will allow them to succeed and be critical/vocal about what is happening in the world around us all. The projects I create on this site will primarily be for class sets of YA books written most likely by POC presenting viewpoints of race, gender, identity, politics, and all things cool.

About my class
