Hello Eager Donors!!!! I am an elementary teacher with years of experience working in urban school districts. If I have learned nothing else during my years as an educator, I know ALL children can learn. The children I work with are constantly dealing with unsafe living conditions yet continue to come to class eager to learn. If you take a moment to think about that struggle you will realize what great citizens these children are preparing to become. All it takes is a great teacher and support form the community. I utilize the donors choose site to help fill the cracks before they become holes. I think about each item requested in great detail to create a learning environment that gives these children the tools to become active participants of the world they live in. Everyone is faced with problems. My classroom encourages critical thinkers and problem solvers. I hope that you will assist in this educational journey!
