My students will be able to access AAC to help them communicate even if they are non verbal. My students will have access to several programs to see which one is best suited for them before they get an evaluation. There voice can be heard even if it is not verbal speech. Every student deserves a voice and it is my job to make sure they are heard and are able to ask for what they need and want. Students will be able to practice by using several programs such as LAMP, Proloquo2 go etc. These programs are costly so funding for an iPad will help. The students using these programs on the iPad will be able to participate during lessons and use several functions of communication through out the day while becoming more expressive and independent. Giving students the right to communicate and a voice are my main goals.
