This collection of books will provide a much-needed overhaul of my classroom library, which, while certainly adequate, could definitely use an infusion of new and interesting books to engage my students. We read from this collection daily, and my students love to pick their own books from it to read, too. Having these new and exciting books will allow my students to choose not only books that are appropriate for their reading level but literature that is of specific interest to them as well. Most of my students come from underprivileged backgrounds and do not have books at home to read, but your assistance in my endeavor to provide them with a book-filled learning environment could make all the difference in the world. One of my most fervent goals as a teacher is to foster a love of reading within my students, and these books will help me do just that. Please consider helping me make this a reality for these very deserving students, and I appreciate in advance any aid that you might provide!
