As we work in our classroom we like to do most of our work in centers. The world today is full of technology. The world revolves around computers and technology. In a world that has it at every corner we need to be able to use it. We would like to be able to fund a few more computers so that more people can be doing individualized learning at the same time. Being able to work on computer programs that are tailored to our learning really helps us succeed in class and in life. We enjoy also having the technology for students to use for research purposes. The students at our school is from a rural low-income area. We do not have a lot of extra funds for technology. Most of what has been bought has been from grants that has helped the children out. If this project would be funded it would help these children have one more resource for learning at their fingertips. They could research more projects, learn typing skills, and work on programs that will meet their skill deficits.
