Put devices down and get some exercise! My theme all year has been about being active not only in P.E. but also in life. I want our students to be able to enjoy exercise, group activities, team sports, and the great pastime of playing outside. I'm trying to incorporate lessons on different types of games/activities that kids can do outside of P.E. What I want to do is provide adequate equipment for my students to get them excited for indoor/outdoor play. Most of my equipment has been around for decades and needs to be tossed. Tape, patches, glue, and screws are serving as only bandaids. Let's give these kids equipment they deserve.
