I teach 27 amazingly wonderful fifth graders! They are full of creativity and imagination in their work and play. All of my students are hard workers who believe in the importance of reading and learning new information. They relish their reading time and enjoy the chance to experience new and exciting worlds that books open up to them. My classroom is a room that invites students to relax and enjoy the reading experience. I try to stock my book shelves with books that are high interest books that children can't put down. I encourage a love of reading by promoting the classics, as well as, new released novels and books.
