Our classroom is asking for flexible seating, STEM manipulatives, and headphones. These materials will transform our classroom from a traditional learning environment to a learning environment that allows us to take ownership of our education. We are already picturing ourselves using bean bag chairs, picnic chairs, and kick bands to keep our minds focused on our math centers! Our STEM manipulatives will allow our kinesthetic minds to make connections to the real world that surrounds us! These materials will not only help us to deepen our knowledge by helping us focus, but they will allow us to take responsibility and ownership of our education.
