Science, by design, is a hands-on, inquiry-based subject. Being new to teaching Earth Space science, I want to challenge and foster a love for science in each of my students. While we may not be able to travel to space in our quest to learn science standards, I want to bring as much of that, and the surrounding natural world to them. By using Chromebooks and hands-on, inquiry-based materials, I will be able to bring science alive for my students! Each student can have real-time, hands-on experiences to learn from. Also, bridging the reading/writing-literacy gap is a personal goal, and the technology will help me do this in my classroom.

About my class
